Indigo Vine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 689 feet (210.0 meters).

It takes 11 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The flame-shaped, rough leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are indigo and black, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of colossal azure flowers.
