Silvervine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized tree grows up to 49 meters (160.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 380 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in thin, silky, silver and white bark, and inside, the dense wood is burgundy-brown.
The branches are short and thin and are covered with large amounts of soft, miniature, long, tapering leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are magenta at the bottom and washed-out red with silver streaks at the top.
In early spring, it produces copious amounts of medium-sized, yellow blossoms with 3 pointed petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a soft scent that smells like a newborn baby.
In late summer it forms giant, caramel, winged seeds that float and land far away.
The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
