Peachgrass

This short, pink-red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, peach tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few large grains.
