Silverwood
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This massive tree grows up to 141 meters (462.6 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 163 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in very thick, rough, brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is white.
The branches are very long and slender and are covered with copious amounts of smooth, huge, very thin leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are light grey and light brown.
In late summer it forms small, florescent yellow berries.
The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
