Tree type: Coniferous (Stores water in its leaves)This modest-sized tree grows up to 40 meters (131.2 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 116 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has a very thick, straight trunk covered in delicate, cracked, silver bark, and inside, the very dense wood is silver.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, silver seed pods.
The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.
