Copper

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. Its blood red stem is thin and straight, and the giant, dark brown and silver leaves are dark copper on the underside and are fan-like with irregular edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 38 cm (15.0 inches) wide, with alternating petals of slate and indigo, with an orange central disk. The flower head is shaped like a trumpet with 12 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are hardy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like lavender, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
