Silverfern

This silver moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In marshes.
It is massive, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly robust.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
