Copper

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 26 feet (7.9 meters) tall. The very thin stem is green, and is dotted with small blood red spines. The irregular-edged, thick leaves are copper and amber. Handfuls of them grow from the base in alternating layers of 2, then 4, then 6, and so on. The leaves are robust, but take little effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are brown on the underside and indigo on the top, grow at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 48 curved petals. It has no scent.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the subtle green flesh is rough, and the hazel sap is thin.
