Silvergrass

This modest-sized, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in large clumps that are light and frail and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, hazel puff.

During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.
