Silverbell

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large shrub grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for around 82 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous long and flexible, curved stems covered in wrinkled, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is white with black speckles.

The branches are very short and thin that and are covered with small amounts of giant, long, narrow, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are red on the sides and azure at the center, rigid and fuzzy.

In late spring it produces several giant, gold flowers with asymmetrical petals. They are hardy and have a mildly strong scent that smells like warm milk.


It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
