Silvergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized, silver grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, lilac flower.

During the early winter, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for making paper
