Magenta creeper

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 133 feet (40.5 meters).

It takes 4 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The very thick, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are magenta at the bottom and turquoise with indigo splotches at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several tiny slate flowers.
