Blueleaf Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized tree grows up to 19 meters (62.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 92 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a thick, angular trunk covered in paper-thin, wrinkled, dark gray bark, and inside, the hard wood is pale brown.

The small clumps of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with small bunches of covered in fine hairs, large, thin leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue and olive.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, light brown seed pods.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.

The leaves and petals are often used to make tea.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
