Emerald Moor Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In moorlands, In damp forests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly sturdy; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
