Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This short, sky blue or cyan grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The V-shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, grey spikelet.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of large grains.

It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
