Limegrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in sparse patches that are delicate and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, lime flower.
During the early summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
