Slateflower
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its green and slate stem is thick and straight, and the huge, yellow leaves are light emerald on the underside and are thin with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Dozens of tiny flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 15 cm (5.9 inches) wide, with solid slate petals decorated with azure dots and a amber central disk. The flower head is largely flat with 35 widely spaced narrow petals. They fall easily.
