Turquoise vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This giant vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 737 feet (224.6 meters) and growing as high as 986 feet (300.5 meters).
It takes 6 years for the gray stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2.0 feet (61 cm) and are rough and woody.
The thick, clammy leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are found in gold and turquoise varieties, and have smooth edges.
The sap is edible and extremely sweet.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
