Copper Shield Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely strong.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
