Flamegrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in thick clumps that are flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, blood red flower.
During the early summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
