Copperbell

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) tall. Its orange or brown stem is very thin and splits into several branching stems at the top, and the miniature, copper leaves are fan-like with jagged edges. 13 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

5 to 9 tiny flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 22 cm (8.7 inches) wide, with alternating petals of dull red and caramel, with a cream central disk. The flower head is largely flat with 4 tightly layered narrow petals. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like lemon, and it has lots of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
