Ember Moss

Moss type: Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly resilient.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
