Golden Threadleaf

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. Its caramel stem is very thin, and the giant, moss green leaves are very thin with jagged edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with petals that are generally gold; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is largely flat with 51 tightly layered round-tipped petals. They are hardy.

It has a soft scent that smells like musk, and it has a fair amount of pollen. It is pollinated by insects , but is also visited by a small species of bird.
