Silver

This big tree grows up to 76 meters (249.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 467 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in delicate, ridged, silver and white bark, and inside, the dense wood is pale yellow.

The numerous branches are short, thin and wispy and are covered with small amounts of leathery, tiny, long, tapering leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are generally olive.

In late summer it forms giant, black, shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
