Crimsonvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 41 feet (12.5 meters)0. It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The asymmetrical, sticky leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are brown and gentle orange, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many balls of colossal crimson flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of large seed pods.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
