Goldenvine
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. Its yellow stem is wispy and splits into dozens of branching stems a quarter of the way up, and the huge, lime green leaves are long, narrow with jagged edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.
1 to 5 tiny flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid purple petals decorated with violet dots and a dark grey central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 57 curved petals. They are sturdy.
It has a weak scent that smells like bonfire smoke, and it has a fair amount of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
It is bio-luminescent.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
