Magenta Vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 43 feet (13.1 meters) and growing as high as 41 feet (12.5 meters).
It takes 3 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.
The fan-like, leathery leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are found in slate, magenta and magenta varieties, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the vine produces a handful of tiny lime flowers.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
