Clinging Firebloom

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. Its red stem is wispy, and the giant, brown leaves are light grey on the underside and are 7 pointed with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from the base up to about halfway.

Each stem splits 3 to 8 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 36 cm (14.2 inches) wide, with petals that are either magenta or beige, with a yellow center. The flower head is made up of 39 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like a man, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
