Crimson vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 50 feet (15.2 meters) and growing as high as 101 feet (30.8 meters).

It takes 6 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The thin, smooth leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are solid red with amber splotches, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of average faded yellow flowers.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
