Magenta

Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its burgundy stem is thin, and the miniature, silver or caramel leaves are stiff, pointed with rounded edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Dozens of medium-sized flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with solid magenta petals decorated with purple dots and a grey central disk. The flower head is made up of many petals in raised layers. They are sturdy.

It has a weak scent that smells like lavender, and it has lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.


The grains are bitter, but very healthy and very bitter.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
