Emerald

This gray-green moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps On trees, In rainy mountain ranges, and In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
