Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In marshes, On trees, and On rotten logs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is slightly rigid; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
