Golden Moor Moss

This orange or yellow moss is commonly found growing in giant clumps In moorlands, In damp forests, and In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and can spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly frail.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
