Silvervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 48 feet (14.6 meters).
It takes 5 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and woody.
The pleated, waxy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are a shade of silver that gradient shifts to aquamarine at the top, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of average lilac flowers.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It comes in 12 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
