Indigo Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 918 feet (279.8 meters) and growing as high as 695 feet (211.8 meters).

It takes 46 years for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3.5 feet (1.1 meters) and remain soft and fleshy.

The stiff, pointed, clammy leaves reach up to 3.6 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are brown and indigo, and have irregular edges.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
