Coppervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 12 feet (3.7 meters) and growing as high as 144 feet (43.9 meters).
It takes 2 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and gnarled.
The very narrow and elongated, smooth leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are either copper or sky blue, with azure zig-zags, and have ripped edges.
During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of small muted purple flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
