Speckled
Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This enormous shrub grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall and lives for around 78 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has dozens of stocky, slanted stems covered in hard, wrinkled, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is white with black speckles.
The branches trail down across the ground that and are covered with small amounts of tiny, very thin, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are lime on the edges and azure at the center, strong and sticky.
In late summer it produces large amounts of large, dark brown blossoms with wide petals. They are hardy and have a weak scent that smells like baby powder.
In early winter tiny long, straight fruits ripen. The fuzzy amber skin is thin and edible when boiled; it is sweet and salty, and the very soft cream flesh is sweet and sour and powdery. The grey seed is very large and is in the centre of the fruit.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
