Silvervine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 156 feet (47.5 meters) and growing as high as 12 feet (3.7 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.
It takes 4 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and woody.
The needle-like, smooth leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are bold green with silver tips, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the vine produces a handful of small pink flowers.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
