Thornwood

This massive shrub grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall and lives for around 32 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has several thick, crooked stems covered in fine, ridged, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches trail down towards the ground that and are covered with small amounts of giant, 6 pointed, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are solid azure with magenta splotches, hardy and crispy.

It produces thick bunches of small, black flowers with shield-shaped shaped petals. They are hardy and have the faintest scent that smells like rainy days. In late spring it forms medium-sizedbrown aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
