Crimson Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, crimson flower.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
