Slategrass

Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, slate flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
