Creamspine

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 29 feet (8.8 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is green, and is covered in large amounts of flexible cream spines. The wavy-edged, thin leaves are olive and cyan. Very large amounts of them grow from the base in a loosely patterned way. The leaves are tough, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 34 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are blue on the underside and lilac on the top grows at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 39 curved petals. It has a strong scent that smells like a damp log.

The leaf succulent's skin is tough, the caramel flesh is slimy, and the white sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.

It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
