Silvergrass

This short, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, silver tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
