Crimsonvine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 31 feet (9.4 meters) and growing as high as 671 feet (204.5 meters).
It takes 9 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are rough and woody.
The wispy, sticky leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are solid azure with indigo splotches, and have ripped edges.
During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of average bronze flowers.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
