Silvergrass

This large, silver grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The wide stalks grow in thick clumps that are flexible and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, caramel flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.
