Bluefire

This modest-sized flower grows up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. Its sky blue or blue stem is wispy, and the large, yellow-green leaves are stiff, pointed with smooth edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Around 60 small flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with cream petals and a copper central disk. The flower head is shaped like a cube with 41 raised, round-tipped petals. They are sturdy.

It has a soft scent that smells like onion, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
