Emerald Grass

This modest-sized, emerald grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, yellow spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
