Violetleaf

This average-sized tree grows up to 34 meters (111.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 430 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, crooked trunk covered in fine, silky, dark gray bark, and inside, the very light wood is pale yellow.

The sparse amount of branches are short and thin and are covered with copious amounts of smooth, large, thick leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are found in violet and ashy blue varieties.

In late summer it forms small, blood red, shelled seeds.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
