Yellowleaf Tree

This average-sized tree grows up to 30 meters (98.4 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 82 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, wonky trunk covered in delicate, waxy, dark green bark, and inside, the flexible wood is yellow.

The branches trail down to the ground and are covered with copious amounts of smooth, giant, slender, pointed leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of florescent yellow or blue that gradient shifts to cream at the top.

In late summer it forms small, red seed pods.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
