Burgundy Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,231 feet (375.2 meters) and growing as high as 846 feet (257.9 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 22 years for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3.1 feet (94 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The stiff, pointed, sticky leaves reach up to 2.5 feet (76 cm) in length. They are light brown and dark grey, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces several average indigo flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of small seed pods.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
